Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. MLK Jr.

In the US we have a day set aside for a great man and an even greater cause: civil rights for all. I could talk about the man but I believe he would have preferred to talk about segregation. This interactive site is full of history, pictures and speeches. It has much to listen to and see. Please give it a try.

Note: If you are doing any research with children please be careful when searching on Google. The second highest ranked search for Martin Luther king is a site devoted to hate instead of peace. Please take this into consideration.

Last Note: I hate to end any post on a negative note, so if you have some time, a bit of floor space, and a heck of a lot of dominoes check out dominoartwork for educators. This could be a lot of fun.
