My classes have a range of students from all ages from 12 to 93. This got me thinking about what was happening on the planet at the time of their births. Thankfully there is a great site called Kakorama. It is labeled as a ride into the past. It comes up with basic info like the day of your birth but there are extras like a copy of Time magazine from that date, the Nobel prize winner at the time, designs that were hot and other goodies. In the grand scheme of things, I don't think this one is very important, but it is fun. Give it a try!
