If you have been reading here for a while then you will have noticed I am a big fan of music, but I am an even bigger fan of free music. If you are interested in World Music then you need to check out Calabash Music. They are partnered with National Geographic magazine and have the same feel. The site is pretty nice. You can download music form all over the world. You can focus in on certain continents and choose from their specific artists. Also you can watch videos of your favorite artists. What about the free music? Well you do have to register with the service and all the songs are $.99 per song but they do have a freebie once a week. I believe a dollar a song is reasonable. Even if you do not buy music you can still listen to a huge amount of music from all over the planet. Give it a try.
