I know I have talked about genealogy before but here is another approach. Now this site is not about researching. So what do they do then? Well they create family trees but with a social web 2.0 spin. The site is Geni and you can create a family tree. So far this is old hat. Here is the cool part. It will allow you to start setting up the family tree. Now when you have a few people added, it gives you the option to invite them to join in. This means that your parents who maybe remember a different part or branch than you do will be able to add more. Then the cycle repeats and more people are invited and more is added in. The theory is that on some level everyone is related somehow. So invite more of your family to join in and then watch the tree grow. Give it a try!
