Two questions I get a lot when people are first learning about the Internet are “How can I find someone?” and “How much information is there about myself on the Net?” Usually I just say check the search engines and you will get a sense of what’s out there. However Pipl is a good site for both of these questions. They claim that they search the deep web. The deep web makes up about 70% of the net. It is all the stuff Google and Yahoo do not search through. Examples of this are usually databases and small networks. They say that their site can interact with these databases and get real-time responses. So if finding info out is tough on a search engine give this a try.
