In a political science course in college we were challenged to label a map of every country on the globe. While this was difficult the professor told us of home many students that could not identify all the states on a US map. To know the location of a helps in the understanding of a place and the problems it may face. California and Louisiana are good examples of this but how does one memorize this? The site MAPMSG is one good way. I was amazed how quickly I took to this. Now I have always despised the game Tetris but this is really more about geographical knowledge than being a good gamer.
